Shrubdown is located about 5 miles south of the historic city of Bath, near the village of Freshford. From Bath, follow the A36 south. Follow signs to Freshford, turning left off the A36. Go through the village, then follow signs towards Avoncliff. About 100 metres after taking a left turn off Iford Lane into Staples Hill, you will find Shrubdown on your right. If you find yourself at the wonderfully picturesque Iford Manor, you have gone too far! |
